COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will include an overview of pharmacology, calculation of dosages, systems of measurement, administration of medication, use of medication references/resources as well as identification of medications used in the treatment of diseases/disorders of body systems. (34.03)

  • Use your ATI Pharmacolgy Text - bring it to class!!!
  • Do the ATI Online Practice Pharmacology
  • Use the Practice Problems for Oral and Parenteral Administration in Calculations of Drug Dosages text
  • Be sure to know the correct needle gauge and length for Intradermal, Subcutaneous and Intramuscular injections.
  • Know the Z-Track method/rationale
